“You’re a far better person for doing this film.”
John W. Hickenlooper.
Centered amongst the majestic Rockies, a corrupt building department is responsible for allowing the faulty construction of a high-end condo project. This true-life documentary chronicles a new real estate agent who intervenes to remedy the problem, but without success. The Town’s own documentation, taped phone conversations and photographic evidence reveal Town officials, professional engineers, subcontractors and the developer collaborating in a bogus review process that falsifies the building’s structural integrity in order to cover their butts and keep the local community in the dark.
The irony of this clash between the powerful and powerless of the construction classes, is that nobody cares. Nothing will be done and no lesson will be learned. And that’s why we are the way we are...and always will be. That is… until we each take responsibility for the community in which we live
