Ivan, I'm very impressed with the trailer which you posted for your latest project, 476 AD. It's awesome that you were able to stage so many action sequences here in Colorado and cut them together so well with your master shot footage from Rome of the ancient ruins. The costumes, photography, epic scale, script, and attention to fine details all take me back to the time when I enjoyed cinema bringing the ancient world to life in the movie theater.
Good work. I hope to be able to see it upon your release and will make the effort to do so. I wonder if you are a student of ancient history or how you happend to pick such an ambitious project. I wonder, too, if you've seen Alejandro Amenabar's Agora, released this past year. I'm curious about what your budget was. It was reported that the Agora film, the most recent recreation of ancient history, had a budget, in Spain, of 50 million.
Yours was effectively staged for what must have been a more modest budget. Good luck with it!
