I noticed on your IMDB that you had done To Build a Fire, the one by Jack London, right? I read that story for class and really liked it. It must of been very sad to film with the dog It must have been very moving! I really would like to be in maybe a fantasy/adventure film or an adaption of Shakespeare or a book. I saw a film recently called Ballet Shoes and it was fairly cheesy but it was very sweet and looked very fun to act in. I'd like to do a time period piece set in like the 30's or 40's or maybe before, theres just so many things I'd like to do!!!
The film is called Misplaced Magic and the director is Jamey Hastings. I am playing Andrew. The role requires a lot of mood changes mixed in with the dialogue. I like the role very much. What are you working on? Adrian
Okay I thinking a bit like one of those sci-fi/action/fantasy movies... With a very independent character. It would be set in the future. The society would be very corrupt maybe something like in 1984 by George Orwell but anyways corrupt. I'm seeing sort of a struggle against a very powerful government. Spies would be everywhere and you couldn't trust anybody. This character would struggle with the concept of what was right and wrong and the flaws in their society...
Thats a bit dark though, I also think that along with the neverending story thing(by the way I absolutly used to love that movie!) something a bit move fantasy-adventure. Maybe it would be set in a timeperiod long ago. The character would be a noblemans daughter but when she stumbles upon some important figure a duke or a lord or someone calling upon black magic it becomes a fight for her life. Too cliche?
I've also always thought it would be cool to film something about a teenage assasin or something like that.
I'm a sabre and foil fencer. To have a part in a Medieval film must be really fun. I really like Medieval swords. I will look you up in the IMDB too. Thanks, Adrian
Jeremy,
Absolutely. We are in the process of launching Papercat Films, website in the works, first film (short) almost ready to send to festivals. 2nd film just began shooting a few weeks ago.
Let's definitely keep in touch about our projects. Are you working on anything right now?
Are you primarily a director, a camera guy, a writer, or all of the above?
Kristine
well Im not doing to much at the moment. Im in a film called After Dust that continues shooting in the spring as for my next step I pretty much just keep looking for auditions. I was thinking about making my own movie though. I got the teenage assasin idea from a begining of a screenplay I wrote over the summer.
Hi Jeremy, yeah that's a very interesting observation, it is intriguing to see how groups form here. I do a lot of classes through Audition Better in Lakewood and have been really impressed with them overall, so I guess maybe that's the group I run with haha. But I don't have much interst in being boxed into any one clique, I just love what I do and the people I get to meet, and the more of it the better. My main focus right now is in film and voice over work and I'm just always grateful it's keeping me busy:]

Nice to meet you and thanks!
It's good to have a solid network in this industry.
Drop me a line if you think there's anything we can collaborate on.
