Hey Todd - thanks for following the migrating masses to our new home. I love what you've done to your room! I think this site is really a great fit for showing off the incredible talent Colorado has to offer - you being one great example. If you have another website, be sure to take advantage of this marketing tool to create a workable link to it. Also, make sure that you take advantage of the fact that you can upload your sample video reels or embed links to YouTube and other sites. If you include a blog on your page that has an educational element or helps us "show off" a Colorado success story, it's sure to make the Main page of this site. (as Stewie would say..."Hintedy-hint-hint"). Again, welcome home to CASA! We're glad you're one of us.
Todd,
Really the best thing you can do is to call or e-mail your the Governor's office and your local State Senate and House members and tell them this is important and as one of the people that they represent you and you want them to vote in favor of performance based tax credits for the film industry when the bill in introduced in January. Secondly you can try to get as many of your friends and co-workers to contact their legislators as well. It doesn't sound like a lot but that personal contact with your personal legislators does mean a lot to them. If you need speaking points when contacting your legislators please send me an e-mail address that I can reach you at with an attachment that we use that gives you quite a bit of information.
Again, if you have any questions please let me know.
Kevin

Hi Todd: Yeah, I have 2 RED cameras, it's a pleasure to shoot. I see you've been around one already. Once I knew all the RED owners, but there are so many now, it's hard to keep up.
Hi Todd - I'm a bit late in discovering this site - but it is the first of the year and time to get things accomplished. You had asked what I have worked on. My best accomplishment was a documentary I shot and edited. But, that was nearly 10 years ago. Since then I have worked as crew and in the past 3 years I have been writing. I too would like to make my own film (with someone else directing) as well as help others with their projects. I'm in Fort Collins - so perhaps we can network.
Hello there! I just joined here. Please check out my profile and add me as a friend here please if you like! I am in Denver now but will be in Florida till Spring. I am looking for local films to get involved with. I also own a full studio just north of Tampa Florida if you ever shoot out there let me know! I will put up photos soon.
Ah, yes I wasn't sure. CFS stands for Colorado Film School. 48 hour film fest sounds like fun, is there anywhere that I can help out with that? Perhaps we will be working together in the future. :)
Todd, I've worked with a group here in Cheyenne on several shorts and a couple full length, as boom tech, production assistant, director and co-writer on one short, and actor in most of them. I'd definitely be interested in any upcoming projects, depending of course on the weather :)
