What happened at the Incubator - January 2012

A couple dozen filmmakers (directors, editors, animators, composers…) got together last night at the Boulder Filmmaking Incubator for a faced paced session of collaboration, problem solving, and creative exploration!

We read the re-write of the next Incie short film, Vitality (wt).  Our writing team decided to next work-shop it on location.  That will be good for the creative juices!

We put together a team to produce a short, animated promo for the Incubator.  Fun!  Look for its premiere at our February meeting.

Chris, fresh from NY, screened 20 very moving minutes from his feature documentary which follows tragedy and hope in war-torn Africa.

Tom and Francoise screened 2 spec commercials and scenes from their feature suspense film, “Svelio”.  We’re all in suspense waiting to see more from them.

And congratulations to G for winning our Focal Press book, “FilmCraft: Editing”
