Hello CASA members, the time has come.

 Right after the first of the year (2011) the admins sent a message to all users asking that you edit your picture content down, to 10 items per user. While we are happy that many of you have done so, to help the CASA community maintain its bandwidth, we are sad to see that many have not. So please edit them, as we must immediately start deleting pictures for you.

 

If you missed the initial message or feel that you were not informed, CONSIDER THIS YOUR NOTICE.

 

The admins will not make artistic decisions about which of your pics to delete, our policy is to delete all but the ten most recent.

 

In order to maintain control of your page content, please do this editing process yourself, as we are starting the process now.

This is totally inadequate notice. Blog posts scroll off. Most people do not see most of them. Karen says you E-MAILED notices but I have not received any E-MAILED notices and I'll bet no one else has.

The admins have been working on this issue for some time and have been in contact with many members regarding excess content.  To my knowledge, none of those members claimed that they did not receive the message, and all of them have been very gracious about working within the current guidelines.  

 

While it is possible not everyone received them, the messages were sent out, and were received by many members of CASA. It is impossible to know how many members did not receive the messages, or why.  I would speculate that is why Haylar chose to make this a blog post instead of a message to the membership.  We are obviously reaching different members this way.

I made a blog AND sent a mass messages to the entire CASA community as well.

Just FYI,assuming that the ning message could end up in perople spam folders

I used all outlets including the blog as a back up.
