Watch PATANG - I just did!
Looking for something to do this Saturday? Why not watch a terrific movie and support an independent filmmaker while you’re at it?
I just finished watching PATANG at Boulder’s Dairy Center for the Arts. There are two more showings on Saturday, March 2.
PATANG (The Kite) submerges the viewer in a sea of saturated colors and striking textures. On a typical micro-indie budget, the DP used inexpensive HD cameras and practical/or natural lighting. You wouldn’t know it, though.…

Standing Room Only
Great turnout! Standing room only at Boulder Filmmaking Incubator’s Jan. 18th meeting.
Here’s a wrap up of the meeting: A half hour schmooze was followed by a “speed greeting.” (Ya know how you go around the room and everyone introduces themselves? Sometimes a little painful? Well, now imagine it as fun and challenging… as fast as you can, tell us what you do and why you’re here… go! Good laughs and a nice icebreaker.) Next, projects were announced and collaboration…

The need to create and tell a story.
As some of you know, I've been pretty active in the video game realm since 2005 and while I love it, I've really been drawn back to film work lately. It's something I did for a while then stopped (mainly due to workload and scheduling) and now I'm missing it dearly. The balance isn't there. This is…
