If you do it or know someone who does a good job, please send me a name along with a website or email address so I can include it in my article on Exmainer.com (http://www.examiner.com/x-29234-Denver-Film-Industry-Examiner).
I'm also listing photographers, so please send info about… Continue
I'm getting some new headshots next week, and I'm trying to figure out where to get the reproductions done and what size to make them. I'm noticing that all the online places that cater to LA actors are doing them in 8X10. I always had 8.5X11 like a regular piece of paper until this last time when I got them done in 8X10 because someone told me that was the standard. Well, the reproduction place didn't tell me that I wouldn't be able to print on the back of them unless… Continue

As the Denver Film Industry Examiner, it's my job to brag on all the great things you guys are doing! Lucky me! So...
People with films in production: please send me your updates at katterbrain@comcast.net. I'll track down the few I know about, but if I don't know about it, I can't include it in my upcoming article!
Also, people with completed films: Please let me know when your film is screening or wins an award!
Yes today was my first audition! What an accomplishment and it all happened in maybe 5 min. Not as nerve racking as trying out for the Broncos Cheerleaders, but still enough to make me almost forget a line.
I got the request to audition Sunday evening. Part of the script was emailed to me and I had to come with a prepared monolog. First off since I am new to this what the heck, a prepared monologue. I found something that I seemed to mesh with and memorized as much as I could in one… Continue

I came to Denver several years ago to receive treatment for a Traumatic Brain Injury, I'm happy to report that I have recovered nicely thanks to the excellent medical treatment available in this area. I've been living in Denver for the past two years, I really like it and it really feels like home. One of the things that I missed the most about LA has been the connection with actors and the creative community. I'm so excited about finding the Actor Scripts and Film group.
Now posted is the 7-minute short film "Sleight of Hand", which won for BEST FILM and BEST DIRECTOR at the 2009 Cheyenne Shoot-Out. This film was completed in just 24-hours--and one unique feature is that this is one continuous shot. You can watch this film now on MY VIDEOS page.
