My company Ti Training is planning a shoot for late June in Alamosa CO and we're looking for people who can play high school-age kids as well as slightly older for an intense recreation of a school shooting (as well as some other crime recreations). This is not a gig for people who are uncomfortable with a realistic portrayal of this kind of brutal crime. This is a paid gig and the actors will be put up for the duration of the shoot in the Alamosa area. The shoot will likely be scheduled for… Continue

So if you’ve been keeping up with my blog, you know I’ve started a webseries loosely based on a modern Ricky and Lucy. We have a disclaimer from CBS and had originally planned to keep the same first names, but we decided it… Continue

Bob Webb and I want to post this revised Call for Entries pricing, since we have just recently become aware (smarter?!!) of the nuances of the fee structure when using WAB as the film submission portal. We appreciate your patience and hope you choose to submit to our fledgling and sparkling new festival.

I always cringe when I hear about someone using a DSLR to shoot a movie. I've never shot with one, and to be honest, at this point in time, I'd probably fight tooth and nail to avoid it. I've read so many things about the drawbacks inherent in acquiring footage with a DSLR, that I just can't understand the appeal.
With line skipping, poor audio implementation, moiré, compression artifacts, awkward form factor, etc., it seems like trying to make a movie with a DSLR would be an exercise… Continue

Outlines, outlines and more outlines. Fishing for the right script for a summer web series project. July, August and September are my shooting months. Next few months will be building my connections in Colorado and finding locations. It will be a supernatural/thriller with colorful characters and plenty of spookiness. I am using HD DSLR setups to shoot with ( Nikon rig ). This is my leap into digital cinema so I am excited. Looking forward to working with actors and creatives in Colorado.

Just moved out here from Los Angeles. I did some modeling and acting out there and am looking to get back into it through networking. I just had a photoshoot this weekend and my headshots are being developed. I would love to network with established people in the industy who would be great mentors as I begin my journey in acting and modeling!

I just wanted to let everyone know that I finished a small film score project. I composed a six minute String Quartet piece to go along with a film short made by Michael Fisher. You can watch a clip on my mobile me site.

The Castle Rock Film Festival strives to support producers and promote film production in the Rocky Mountain region(CO, NM, MT, UT, AZ, ID, NV and WY). This region has many stunning scenic backdrops, plenty of production resources, crew and actors to be able to support any project of any size.
We are firm believers that you don’t have to be in Hollywood to make a great film, which is why we hope to promote the Rocky Mountain Region for all… Continue
