Throughout possibly the worst Academy Award ceremony ever where we watched Hugh Jackman personally bomb the next wolverine movie before it even comes out, the Academy got something right. They honored Heath Ledger. It is rare that a performance is so good that it actually inspires people to want to act. After watching the Dark Knight you could just get that feeling that there were people signing up for theater and acting classes all over the country because you could tell Heath Ledger had a…

Front Range Films would like to thank all of the wonderful cast and crew who worked on our film trailer shoot last week, especially memebers of CASA Films.
A special thanks to Daniel Valdez and Maiz Lucero for playing featured roles.
Also, thank you to all of the wonderful "high school" actors who worked in the classroom and in the hallways at East High School in Denver.

With my latest script and film I'm shooting being about vampires I watch every single vampire film I can get my hands on. When I saw that Underworld 3 came out I will say I was a little apprehensive. Kate Beckinsale would not be in this flick noR would Scott Speedman. These are the characters that drove the first two films (although not interesting characters). Oscar nominations have come out and once again I have decided that the Association of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences have got their heads up their asses. How can The Dark Knight not be nominated for Best Picture. Now box office numbers don't always lead to the worth of a picture but when the second biggest picture of all time can't even get nominated then somethng is wrong. The Dark Knight is a much better film than Titanic which won best picture. That year Titanic wasn't a better movie than…
