Project Flip: Me and my big mouth.

As some of you know, I got this ultra cool Flip HD video camera for Christmas from Diana. She got it for me so we could shoot a lot more video of our two stars, Elliot (6) and Finnegan (3). It's an amazing piece of equipment and it's about the size of a kid's juice box so it pretty much goes wherever I go.

Anyway, many people have jokingly said I should make a movie with it. Yeah, very funny. Ha ha. Seriously, ha ha. Well, at tonight's Emerging Filmmakers Project (and shame on you… Continue

"Birthday Girl" world premiere and fundraiser for "Kung Fu Sushi Chefs"

For the past year, I’ve been working on a film called “Kung Fu Sushi Chefs.” It’s the biggest film project I’ve ever been involved with, and has a cast and crew of about 50. We did a “test shoot” to try some things out and learn from our mistakes. Now, that test shoot is a short film of its own called "Birthday Girl" and it’s going to premiere on Saturday January 30 in Denver at Bug Theatre. Doors open at 7:00pm. If you’re around, you should come… Continue

On-going, paid work for local actors.

I'm new to the site and just wanted to put the word that we are looking for actors.

I currently work for a company based in Golden that produces training content for law enforcement agencies around the world. We frequently hire actors to play roles in training simulations for camera. We need actors of all age groups, genders and body types.

Our standard approach is to hire a group of actors and film multiple scenarios with different characters in… Continue
