The cold truth about cold reads

I've been approached a lot lately about giving tips on how to perform well during a cold read. This is in part due to the many cold reads I've had while developing and workshopping my feature script "Jimmy Said" and, of course, the hundreds of cold reads I've seen/heard over the years at CASA, various acting classes/workshops, and table reads for other projects. Gary Otte: On the road in KS

I thought I was coming back home just to relax but I was asked to do some shooting for a documentary I started in Denver. It's been fun just driving with no pressure and getting what I get for b-roll.



It's been great shooting with the HVX and lens adaptor (Nikon glass) but because there are so many different options it takes away the improvisational feel I liked when I first started shooting. The trade-off is
