I'm just back from Idaho last week, where Steve Meyers and I spent nearly a month on set for my new feature. Filming went fantastic and we worked with a great crew of people. The feature is a supernatural thriller with Doug Jones (Hellboy/Silver Surfer) which I wrote and co-produced. We'll have our hands full with editing over the next few months, and hope to have a trailer to preview at Comic-Con in a few weeks.

- I'm a well known illustrator in the comics, gaming and sci-fi industries, with 17 years experience as an artist. Recently I've turned my creativity to writing as well, and my first screenplay was optioned and put into production last year. Since then I've written several more indie budget screenplays, and hope to eventually move into the role of producer/filmmaker in years to come. I hope to network with Colorado industry creatives to better develop a Colorado film community.

Feature Update

Jon Pic1 said… - Monte, yes, I agree any publication form is tough to make it in and if you do, the money is minimal. I have a project, actually working on the sequel as we converse. I plan for the original to become a dark novel and comic mini-series. I've sought the right person to connect with for years, but I'm picky on how I want the art work to look and haven't found anyone in the US to date who has the right pencil style. I look forward to talking more, later.
