URGENT - help for film incentives bill - act TODAY 3/9/12

URGENT. Representive Claire Levy needs to understand how much HB12-1286 means for Colorado. Please contact her office today and let her know that you care about this bill and Colorado's economy. Rep Levy is on the Joint Budget Committee, and could kill funding for the bill. This is something that needs immediate attention. Let me repeat that. Her vote can kill the whole bill. Let's show her that Colorado wants this to happen now! Thanks to…

please rate Web of Lies on IMDB

It was a great turnout for the EFP last night. Wondering if any of you who attended, or who have seen the film at other screenings, could go to IMDB and give us a rating.

Twitter anyone?

Folks out there on twitter-- have you had success using it as a networking tool? Who should I follow? What are hashtags about? I'm not finding it terribly easy to use, any suggestions?

Oh, and if you follow me, I'll follow you!

Hi Kathy....Nice to see you at the rally. Just wondered if you knew how I could get a copy of the Tri Media Festival pieces. Someone was filming them, weren't they? Actually, Glenn Thayer wanted to see it. Let me know. Take care.

Hi, Kathryn! I think in the intermediate we'd actually get up and do things, but I'll ask Lana to be sure!

Thanks for the advise! I didn't know about that, thank you! I will definately check that out.

And with my name, it's a little funny, when I first started on with the CASA group I was using Elizabeth Harla and everyone called me Liz. But someone told me that I should just use my whole name so now I go by Joy Elizabeth Harla ;-) Some of the "old" group still call me Joy-Liz or Liz-Joy, lol!!! It's kind of become quite the funny haha ;-)

Thank you for the "Save the Cat" suggestion. I have it now. The book is good for structure analysis. I just jumped into my loglines and synopses challenge and cranked out one. I appreciated your recommendation and discussion response.

Hi Kathryn! I called Big Fish and they told me that their classes are about $500 a month, a little too steep for me. But thank you though!! Hope you are doing well!

Hello! Sorry it's taken so long for me to respond!
I study at Front Range and I feel like we have met, on Rachel Levine's set last summer..?
And I'm currently working on getting my short edited so we can submit it to some film fests! So yeah!
Have a great day!

Thanks. Obviously we hope "Kung Fu Sushi Chefs" turns out great, too. I hope you have a great summer, and come see the film when it premieres early next year. Also, we'll need some extras for a big dinner party scene, so you could still get in the movie in a small way. I'll post a notice about that when the time comes.
