need sound sync help

am cutting short feature,Oozle Pool. link to trailer: http://www.youtube.com/rvehill

shot hd 24 fps. but have imovie hd6 as an editing program. problem: imovie hd6 loads the video and audio out of sync. have figured maybe 3 or 4 ways to deal with it but maybe someone knows the best fix for sure.

Hmmm, I haven't used imovie in quite a while, but maybe someone else knows.
