Colorado Actors Scripts And Films

Free Support and Outreach for Colorado's Filmmaking Community

I just wanted to thank all of you who participated in the Seminar this weekend, I hope it helped you at least understand more about yourself as a creative and what you goals are as you go about this crazy biz.

I may do this again next year.

Please feel free to post any feedback about the seminar you may have, by simply commenting here.

I would greatly appreciate it.

The stuff I learned last year has created some great opportunities for me. The stuff I learned this year will help me maximize those opportunities.

I hope you know how valuable the experiences you share really are. There are so many myths that I have seen people cling to (including myself) for too long. It is only through facing the realities of the business, as opposed to finding scattered bits of evidence to support what we want to believe, can we really hope to get where we want to go. What you related were simple, concrete and effective strategies towards that end.

I'll be back for the next one, whenever that is. For anyone serious about getting a professional foothold, it is worth ten times the price of admission. At least.

Thanks.
Haylar provided a thorough overview of the "look and feel" of being a screenwriter in Hollywood. The trials and tribulations along with the successes and rewards were covered in detail. His experience and insider information can help any aspiring screenwriter develop a strategy for how to proceed in this business. Good job Haylar!

I really enjoyed the experience! I had no idea that writers went through so much! Thank you for sharing you experiences and I know they will definetly play a role in how I approach the tv/film industry!

Thanks, Brit
I have to thank you for the info and the insight it really helps not just with the writers but me being an actor. You had a saying that stuck with me and that was the cat chase statement. It put everything in place and I have to thank you for that. As we all know things are slow right now and I started to slack on my craft but your seminar and statement help me see that I have to work harder and this can be done from Denver. I can't thank enough for the seminar it is one of the best I have been to.

Thank you.
