Where do I go to find local youth Musicians? I have a child who is composing her own lyrics I want to feed here aspirations with a group jam session.
Are there any local musician unions, associations, suggested childrens networks.

You may be able to find some other kids to jam with through Swallow Hill. Am I understanding correctly that your daughter is 6 years old and composing her own lyrics? If so, that's awesome! Does she express any interest in learning to play an instrument yet? I would encourage her to learn to play the piano first, then guitar when she's a bit older. After that, she should learn as many other instruments as she can handle. I wish you all the best of luck and I hope your daughter falls in love with music for life.
