What?
This is confusing, I know.
"Doesn't CoachDalton have a corner already?"

Yup, but I am deleting that corner and replacing it with a new PUBLIC group. Unfortunately, once you create a group, you cannot change the PRIVACY settings. The only option is to start over.

After much consideration and some research on "Forums", I realized having a PRIVATE group was not advantagous to me or anyone of our members. I feel the valuable advice and actor replies should be available to all the CASA members.

If you are a memebr of my old corner, please join this one before i delete the old.

Hey Joy,
Thanks for waking up the corner. It seems no one is interested in asking for advice or participating in discussions, lately. I think all of CASA is on summer vacation...

I would like to set up a table read of a screenplay in about a month I would need some actors and actresses I'll put together a character synopsis for the parts. What would you need to facilitate this. Thanks for your time.

Well I will wake this place up real quick!! ;-)
I am having the darnest time finding what I think is a good monologue that can really "sell me". I am tired of looking like the BFF, I want to show that I can be the total opposite. I want something that will challange me. I have one that I like but could use some advise as to whom I can test this out on......... any ideas? Also where else can I find decent monologues?

I like www.whysanity,net/monos for monologues. it is known for having mostly movie monologues, but it has a variety of different ones from plays, tv, ,etc. also it has a great section of links to other great sites. Good luck!

Joy,
Finding monolques is always a challenge, especially original one. Try writing your own original monologue.
Search Horton's Stage Plays on the net. This playwrite does something kinda cool, he takes social network "rants" he finds on the net, or commentary from blogs and revises them into original monologues.

There's a great book on how to write your own monologues:
"The Monologue; Mystery to Mastery"

The author is a Denver agent.

Congrats to DS StudioWorks students Tannia Kustka (now rep'd), Christine Miller (for landing soooo many film roles) and Paul McLean (who just wrapped his lead role in "Political Justice"). And best success to Matthew Kyle and Roman Banfield who are quite prepared for their move to LA next month (we will miss you guys!)
