My film Killer Ink just got accepted to screen at/promote the comic book (http://search.barnesandnoble.com/Killer-Ink/Lewis-Leslie/e/97819333...)/got a booth at Albuquerque Comic Expo this June. Legendary actor Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca) who is featured in the movie will be in attendance at Comic Expo. Still working on the making money thing!

Well I got my first $100,000 escrowed to make a film of my novel Dog Soldiers MC. I want to raise $250K to shoot it though, but the 100K came froma reasonably expereinced low budget film director (and he seconded on majot films) and he wants to direct it. Well good people, for his 100K he can do so! We hope to shoot in 2012, it will all be done here in Colorado and  the production crew,actors etc will be housed and feed on my rancho property here outside Woodland Park. My novel was designed to be a film and all the loactions are here or very near here so we will cut down on expenses this way.

 

But this developement is encourageing to try to shoot my film RESISTANCE on truly miniscule budget. So maybe some of oyu will ewnat to work for less than dime but have good time and help make RESISTANCE (I have licesnes machine giuns and am licensed demoliton person too, so it is a shoot um' up but at the end the audiece sees it is more than sci fi too) sort of like the orginal Planet O fthe ASpes ending and a bit like Cornel Wild in "The Naked Prey' ( 1967 I think) both great films on all levels.

 

But not much sense in making a film nobody sees and theatrical release is pretty much a  closed dead end with Indies, so I worked foriegn distribution before I trierd to raise a dime. Most foriegn Distributos are crooks though.

I think you can see the trailer I made at my facebook link  , it maybe crude but it is doing its job. I am doing the elad in the trailer, won't do it for the film of course but I was just the cheapest person I could find to  (: And hell of I'm not half bad in it too!
