HOW TO KEEP THIS SITE AD FREE
Thanks to the financial generosity of an anonymous benefactor our site is ad-free... at least for now.
What would change that?
...too many photo and video uploads. If we exceed the equivalent of 5,000 photos OR 500 videos, NING will charge us an additional $25/mo; once that block is exceeded, another $25/mo, and so on. Who will pay for that? Advertisers or other "friends of CASA" who don't mind the fact that they can't write it off on their taxes. Though CASA is a not-for-profit (we never touch money), we are also not a 501(c)3. We are plain and simply a community that relies on volunteerism and generosity.
Why are we telling you this?
...because we want you to consider the whole community when you make your choices in what you upload to this site. Be professional and conservative. Think about professionally packaging yourself when you add content to your MY PAGE. It makes us all look more professional as a filmmaking community, plus it will allow more members an opportunity to include their photos and videos without threat of exceeding our bandwidth maximum.
