Event Description
Acting Coaches, David Dalton and Chad Schnackel will be hosting this event.
The theme: "SERVE THE STORY; ACTORS BREAKING IT DOWN"
This event will be all about breaking down scenes and audition sides. We will be conducting cold-reads and showing the actors how to identify and serve the key elements in a scene and what Casting Directors really look at. Although this will be all about the actor's perspective, our screenwriters may learn a few thing, too.
Screenwriters: Please bring your scenes. We are asking for scenes that are no more than 3 pages. MockSides.com will be bringing in some scenes, also. Please come a little early so we can take a look at what you have.
Actors: We are asking all CASA actors to attend. Not all actors will get to do a cold read, but we will be asking for your feedback on each scene.

My name formerly was Lee Giudice.
My son is Ted Brash (Giovanni Giudice)
after 6 years in the Air Force he is anxious to get back into films, acting or just helping out.
We both plan to attend and very much look forward to being there.

Hi! I'm a screenwriter new to CASA. This will be my first event with your group. I will be bringing six scenes - two from each of my three completed screenplays. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

FYI - We have sent invitations to a lot of non CASA members in hopes to get a really good turnout and possibly more CASA members. As of this post, we have an additional 12 reservations not listed here.
So please ...attend and invite your actor friends.

"Serve the Story" was my first CASA MASS event. I found your group welcoming, focused, and insightful. This was a completely new type of event for me, and the writer/actor interaction definitely brought me out of my comfort zone. Thank you for allowing me to participate in your event.
